Among this biggest four, knowledge and information about China’s global navigation satellite system is very limited. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The space constellation consist of five GEO satellites and 30 non-GEO satellites. GEO satellites are positioned at 58.75°E, 80°E, 110.5°E, 140°E, and 160°E. The non-GEO satellite include 27 MEO satellites and three IGSO satellites. The MEO satellites are operating in an orbit with altitude of 21.500 km and inclination 55°, wich are evenly distributed in three orbital planes. The IGSO satellites operating in an orbit with altitude of 36.000 km and inclination of 55°, distributed in three orbital planes. Ground Control Segment consist of one Master Control Station (MCS), two Upload Station (US), and 30 network globally distributed Monitor Station (MS). The user segment include various Beidou user terminal, and terminals compatible with other navigation satellite systems. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Beidou Coordinate System (BDC) as a coordinates system and Beidou Time (BDT) for the time system. COMPASS system has been using in many application, such as transportation, marine technology, forestry fire prevention system, and more others. The main difference about COMPASS system with other GNSS systems lies in the constellation of satellites and technology services offered. text
