Beside that, energy crisis that occur in the world increase the awareness to develop renewable energy power plant, included Micro-hydro Power Plant (MPP). The development MPP in various regions may help to create government program to increase electrification ratio. This final project research was undertaken in a group; consist of technical study and economical study. This final project is concerned about technical study MPP low-head potential in Cisangkuy River Bandung Regency. A survey of the site was undertaken to determine available head for potential and energy calculating. Study was continued with turbine design simulation and initial design for various components of MPP. Potential optimizing was undertaken with cascade system method and double turbine utilizing in each MPP. The study confirmed that the flow of Cisangkuy River technically can be used to generate electricity using propeller turbine with potential total power output about 510 kW when single turbine work at each MPP and annual energy about 7426.22 MWH. text
