Description
Summary:The Development plan of Industrial Campus Research of Institute Technology Bandung (ITB) in Deltamas city is a cooperation between ITB and Government of Bekasi Region, which will be build in an area of 40 hectares . The Development plan includes planning of water supply that will be used for domestic , while the wastewate treatment intended to treat the wastewater . and non domestic utility in each building, so the quantity of wastewater can be estimated. Therefore, wastewater treatment and sewerage design is necesssary in this area. The sewerage system intended to distribute wastewater from each facility to the last treatment unit through piping systems so it is safe to discharge to the environment. Planning begins by choosing the most suitable sewerage systems and wastewater treatment to be applied in the Research Campus, then all datas arranged as a basic planning. Wastewater distribution system will use on-site system sanitation, using the small bore Sewer. through the piping system. Wastewater treatment in each building will use septic tank facilities, the efluent will be processed in the biofilter, and then will be flown to the infiltration wells and then it willl be distributed to the aerated pond as the last treatment unit. The organic contents in the effluent from the infiltration wells are expected has declined 95% . Process in the aeration tank is air injection to decrease the organic residu.
