The purpose of this thesis is to map the ocean dynamics (tides and currents) as the variable vulnerability of coastal areas for abrasion. In this final task, coastal area of Cirebon's used as study area that include the preparation of survey, survey implementation, data processing and analysis of the results from mapping the ocean dynamics.<p>Results from mapping the ocean dynamics is a map a tide and flow velocity maximum at two different seasons, in summer and winter monsoon. Tide and flow velocity maximum occurs in west monsoon, which is 0,40 m and 0,18 m/s. Results from mapping the ocean dynamics, the coastal area of Cirebon's is a secure area from the abrasion process. <br /> text |
