Summary: | Utilization of sea area on sea waters objects which often ignores the interests of others gives rise to various conflicts. This is due to the absence of regulations limiting the authority of the objects of the sea. This study aims to determine how far the current legislation set limits utilization of marine space.
The methods used in the study are including identifying the object of the ocean waters, summarizing the rules and regulations related to marine cadastre, applying the concept of marine object registration, and classifying institutions according to their authority. The scope of this study includes legal aspects, technical aspects, and institutional aspects.
Results obtained from the study viewed from those three aspects resemble different things. For legal aspect there are already some regulations that govern the ocean space utilization limits. As for technical aspects, the registration object refers to registration of sea waters land object cadastre. While quite contrary, the least institutional aspects have no centralized legal institutions. |
