Description
Summary:Republic Of Indonesia is a country had a lot of mountainous area with relatively high precipitation level in mountainous that resulting in many case of landslides disaster. In order to avoid loss of material and people, prevention action are needed. One of the prevention method for landslides is to do monitoring for landslides potential in landslides zone to identificate disaster potential that might happen in the future. Landslides monitoring done with Terestrial Laser Scanner (TLS) technology would produce quick and accurate monitoring data. In this research the study case area will be in Ciloto, Jawa Barat. Monitoring of landslide areas with TLS is fairly easy to do and produce 3D models that have high density and accuracy in a fraction of milimeters that can be done relatively quick. In order to produce georeferenced data, GPS measurements on reference points can be used. Object brightness and color also affect the effectiveness of TLS usage because it affects the maximun distance of the object to be mapped from scanner. The total accuracy of the measurement must take into account the following factor, global result of measurement accuracy, reference point accuracy, and model accuracy. Beside that result, TLS can produce intensity map which gives information about vegetation variety.2
