Although 75% of the world surface consists of water, only a little part of them can be consumed by people. On the other side the impact of the industrial growth has reduced the quality and the quantity of clean water. So, the proper solution for water threatment is urgently required. One the them is the using of ozone.<p>In this final project, a high voltage high frequency zero current switching (ZCS) quasi-resonant (QR) inverter power supply with half bridge topology is implemented to accomplish an ozone generator by corona discharge methode. ZCS QR method forces the shape of the wave to be sinusoid by placing a resonant tank of L and C. Then swicthing transistor is trigered when the current reachs near zero point so it minimizes the switching losses and perform higher efficiency. High frequency design caracteristic will impact on the smaller dimension of the transformer. text |
