In order to do ground imaging, we often use acoustic wave <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> to obtain informations inside the earth. In this process, we need a wave source <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> (usually a bomb) and a receiver which is placed with specified settings based <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> on requirements. Data which are received by the receiver will be processed and <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> then we will image the ground from the data. However, some problems occured <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> in this process, such as part of the ground which difficult to propagate, so that <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> we cant obtain valid data about this part of ground. Moreover, it requires <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> a lot of costs to execute a bomb operation. Thus, we have to think about <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> the most efficient method to obtain imaging data by minimalize the bombing <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> operation. One of the method that will be explained in this final project is a <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> wave extrapolation method by using Kirchhoff integral and Rayleigh integral. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> These methods enable us to obtain informations in a particular point inside <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> the earth, that is usually difficult to get, without doing more bombing operations. text |
