Summary: | Low bargaining position of farmers in the domestic marketing system of patchouli oil causes many marketing agencies involved in the marketing system of patchouli oil and lengthens the marketing system chain of patchouli oil itself. This increases the cost of the marketing system of patchouli oil. Patchouli oil marketing system is inefficient. This can be seen from the price difference which is quite a distance between farmers and traders to exporters who led large marketing margins and income inequality among the actors in the agribusiness patchouli oil. Hence, farmers and refiners have not got a good profit from patchouli oil business due to an inferior position. Analysis on the patchouli oil marketing system in Sleman was performed using the cost and margin analysis tools in the concept of value chain analysis to determine the distribution of the benefits of patchouli oil agribusiness actors. Designing the marketing system model with the principle of income equality among patchouli oil agribusiness actors is done by using Non-Linear Programming with the objective function of profit balance between agribusiness actors to determine the unit price of commodity traded by each actor involved on the appropriate partnership model. Patchouli oil trade in Sleman regency consists of the marketing system formed by grower-refiner-trader and marketing system formed by refiner and trader. Marketing system established by refiner and traders is a marketing system which can provide income equality among patchouli oil agribusiness actors in Sleman regency. Marketing system established by grower-refiner-trader is the marketing system which can not provide equality of income among actors patchouli oil agribusiness in Sleman regency. Solution models suggest that grower should earn patchouli leaves selling price of IDR 2,857.55 / kg and refiner obtain patchouli oil price of IDR 429,159.50 / kg at a rate of patchouli oil prices in the trader of IDR 440,000.00 / kg to obtain a marketing system that provides income equality among the actors in the patchouli oil agribusiness case study in Sleman regency. <br />
