Description
Summary:Reverse engineering was developed. that was followed by tools reverse engineering. Tools was developed for reverse engineering is terrestrial laser scanner. Terrestrial laser scanner is effectively modeling for object detail. Modeling with terrestrial laser scanner depends on registration method. On Terrestrial Laser Scanner, registration method consist of three methods. There are target to target registration method, cloud to cloud registration method, and traverse registration method.

This Registration method is a crucial process for modeling with terrestrial laser scanner. Because of that, these registration methods need to be compared. Comparison is needed to support the selection of an effective registration method. Comparison is in terms of quality, practicality and preparation of data collection. The best registration method on terms quality is target to target registration method. The best registration method on terms practically is cloud to cloud registration method. Result comparison quality of electrical substation GKU Timut which target to target is 0.001 m, cloud to cloud is 0.005 m, and traverse registration is 0.048 m. For another object Aula Timur, qualtiy of registration which target to target is 0.003 m, cloud to cloud is 0.071 m, and traverse registration is 0.196725 m relatively.
