Summary: | In the present, Pertamina refinery still often occur emergency operation or unplanned stop schedule, so that it never reach planned production target. Increase value added, roductivity, asset utilization and worker competence is importance problem to solve immediately. The purpose of this thesis is to compare productivity level among refinery unit in Pertamina, to compare productivity level among Pertamina, another refinery and average refinery, to look for causing the productivity low and how to increase that productivity, especially in relation with maintenance management improvement. With increasing productivity, it means to decrease cost of production, to increase output quantity, so that it decrease the price of product or decrease subsidy of Pertamina product from goverment or decrease oil product import. The impact of all will increase income of Pertamina and profit of Pertamina. The result of productivity measurement give indication, that Pertamina productivity is lower than another refinery or average refinery, trend to come down but not at all. The result of productivity measurement among 3 Pertamina refinery unit (UP II, UP III, UP V), UP V refinery productivity is the greatest and UP III refinery productivity is the lowest. The low Pertamina productivity is caused by low asset utilization, minimum in using of productivity indicator and productivity target that able to spur increasing the productivity, no effective organization, no integration maintenance program, no concern to the impact of indirect maintenance cost that able to impact in productivity. Resourses to increase productivity through maintenance management can do with organization structure improvement, authorization improvement, maintenance worker utilization improvement, maintenance tools & equipment utilization improvement, implementation of criticality rating in maintenance especially in stationary equipment, improvement in using of productivity indicator and productivity target that able to spur increasing the productivity, maintenance quality improvement, making integration maintenance program. |
