Summary: | CORS (Continously Operating Reference Station) is one of GNSS technology based used for several applications related to positioning system. CORS is an active geodetic network framework appeared as a permanent station completed by receiver which able to receive signal from GPS satellite and another GNSS satellite and being operated continously in 24 hours. In its utilization CORS is capable of providing positioning data in real time or processing and supplying open network as well in order to get the positioning data able to be accessed by active users. The similar systems around the world have differents name. CORS in Indonesia was first operated by GIA(Geospatial Information Agency), was known as Bakosurtanal, in 1996 and also called as IPGSN (Indonesia Permanent GNSS Station Network). In April 2012, CORS IPGSN network has already possesed 117 stations in all over Indonesia region. Other than IPGSN Network, CORS network was also developed by NLA (The National Land Agency) which known as BPN (Badan Pertanahan Nasional), in April 2012 it’s already has 93 stations an 70 of them is located in Java. It has also been explained that a few CORS systems are located in the world such as IGS, EPN, SWEPOS, TUSAGA-Aktif, GEONET, CORSnet-NSW and MyRTKnet. <br />

In this research, it’s also discovered that CORS IPGSN network owned by The National Land Agency and Geospatial Information Agency has not been utilized in its maximum capacity compared by another CORS network in the world. Thus, there is still so many development and improvent should be done in so many aspects of CORS IPGSN and BPN. |
