If the earthquake cycle is known, it can be usefull for mitigation act in the future. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Global Postitioning System (GPS) can be used to observed the post-seismic deformation because its accuracy. GPS can gives a milimeter (mm) accuracy, so it is the right methods to observed post-seismic deformation. Acording to the observation in 2007 until 2009, there are post-seismic deformation around 5 to 15cm per year. The post-seismic modelling result is a deformation estimation in the subduction zone . text
