One of environmental damage cause in coastal area is ocean dynamics. The purpose of this thesis is to create an ocean dynamics map (tides and currents) and its application in analysis of coastal area vulnerability to abrasion. The study area in this research is in coastal area of Indramayu. The ocean dynamic mapping is done by using the numeric modeling method. This numeric modeling method is method to model the ocean dynamicby using the mathematic equation. The result of this modeling is a tide and current map of two different seasons. The result is then used to analize the vulnerability of Indramayu coastal area. The value of the maximum current velocity in west monsoon is 0,405 m/s, and in east monsoon is 0,398 m/s. Meanwhile the value of the tide in west monsoon is 0,76 m and in east monsoon is 0,78 m. Based on the result of modeling, out of eight coastal regions in Indramayu, there are four regions that are vulnerable and four regions that are less vulnerable. text
