| Summary: | Ngrayong Sandstone consists of quartz sandstone and bioclastic limestone. In the outcrop of research area were found lignite interbeded that shows the depositional environment with a relatively calm current, and also the presence of gypsum interbeded indicated that the deposition area has a high level of evaporation. Granulometric analysis shows five suspension dominated and seven saltation dominated depositional environment from twelve samples, the micropaleontology analysis shows that the deposition environment is in a transitional until inner neritic. Based on facies associations, Ngrayong Sandstone on Ngampel area was deposited in shallow sea, swamp, and beach. |
