Summary:Cancer is a complex and deadly disease which cells grow uncontrolled Cancer growth depends on cell interaction, oxygen supplied, and cell diffusion. Cancer can be cured. Medical treatment is given to control cell proliferation depends on cancer stage and patient response. In this final project, cancer cell interaction model will be constructed and analyzed mathematically. This model will be constructed by adapting cell interaction model by Gatenby dan Gawlinski. This final project illustrate the cancer growth by numerical simulation for two models, that is with and without diffusion before and after therapy.Based on analysis and simulation,we concluded that cell interaction model without diffusion is good enough to analyze the dynamical of cancer cell and healthy cell. By doing further analysis, decreasing cancer growth rate is an effective way to cured cancer. Hopefully, this result can give a contribution in developing anti-cancer therapy.
