In this research is about mapping the spread of coral reef using remote sensing method in the study area in Kecamatan Sadai, Bangka Belitung province and use of QuickBird imageri from 2006 as a data. For get the classification result for coral reef and other substrates required some correction method like water column correction and need some classification technique as a benthic classification. Furthermore the result will be compare with image from the result of processing using lyzenga algorithm to get the description about objek which has been clasified in benthic classification, and finally will be get the map of spread from that coral reef. The researcher do that because the result from benthic classification just have some variation of colour with no description, and the colour which have same category will be in one classification. To get the information about that, so the researcher must do the processing of imagery with lyzenga algorithm. text |
