Description
Summary:Along with human population growth, the amount of waste produced also increased and needed a centralized waste handling by the municipal government. Garbage collection in one location cause new problems such as ground water pollution by leachate .Leachate brought together with the rain and bring the decomposition of waste material and decaying bacteria. This research is conducted to know the type of bacteria in the surrounding area of waste disposal site and to know the possibility of biological ground water contamination. In this research water is used as sample, taken from wells because of the possibility contaminated by leachate and consumed by the residents. Samples are identified with biochemistry test method according to McCowan.
