Observational data obtained from the field measurements in 2008,2009,2010 and 2011. The data is processed using software Bernesse 5.0 and it gives the land subsidence data during three periods, 2008-2009, 2009-2010 and 2010-2011.Then the processed data will be correalatedwith the decreasing of the groundwater surface (MAT), geology and land cover map of Semarang. The results of data processing showed a land subsidence occur at some points in GPS which is spread over an area in Seamarang with range from 0.7 cm up to 11.2 cm per year and the relationship between the land subsidence with the groundwater surface (MAT) reduction in Semarang, geological condition and land cover of Semarang.

The land subsidence phenomenon that occured in Semarang requires further monitoring and assessment for the characteristic and factors which is contributing in the land subsidience phenomenon.
