Description
Summary:Coalbed Methane industry, as a form of uconventional hydrocarbon in Indonesia, has developed along with the declining domestic oil and gas production. To be able to develop the field of CBM efficiently and economically, a method in predicting the reserve and flow rate with a high accuracy is needed. In this paper, the author tries to develop reserve and rate time prediction profile for nonconventional gas reservoirs by using the material balance method, which was developed by King (1990), Seidle (1999), and Jensen-Smith (1997). The input data used are, among others, reservoir data, production history, relative permeability, and sorption isotherm data.
