Description
Summary:Emission inventory is one of the tools that can be used in air pollution control. The purpose of this research is to calculate the amount of CO, NOx, HC, and SPM as pollutants from the transportation sector within the area of Jakarta. The pollutants’ emission level is calculated based on the different types of fuel consumed and the vehicles’ average mileage in a year. The results show that carbon monoxide (CO) has the biggest amount among other pollutants, which is as much as 1.374.022,75 ton per year. The difference in pollutants contribution in different areas shows the different characteristics and specific behavior in each area. Therefore, a correct air pollution control can be applied in the correct area.
