Many physical defects such as cracks in buildings, roads and embankments, shift Pertamina gas pipeline, and bending the railroad as a result of this hot mudflow. Physical damages occurred due to ground movement that accompanies the hot mud flow. Since 2006 has conducted observations of ground motion using GPS periodic surveys to find out how much ground movement that occurs both vertically and horizontally in the region this mudflow. It has been four years more hot mudflow phenomenon in Sidoarjo is ongoing and no one knows exactly when this will stop the mud flow. Until now, ground movement that occurred already reached a radius of up to 5 km from the center of explosion with a spatial change in velocity that is equal to 0.03 m / month for the center of explosion and 0.0009 m / month for the area which is about 5 km from the center of explosion. Therefore important to do some modeling of ground motion are spatially and temporally in the vicinity of the mudflow in Sidoarjo to determine changes in ground movement that occurs in the function of time and space. In addition, in spatial and temporal modeling for the future is also important for disaster mitigation. text |
