Lokon volcano is one of an active volcano located in the path of volcanic mountains that stretches along the island of Sulawesi. One of the relatively large eruption occurred in October 1991 that left the connector at the base of Crater lava Tompaluan. In the 2000-2003 period between consecutive eruptions occur almost every year and 1991 lava tide is gradually eroding. The existence of the eruption indicates volcanic activity at Mount Lokon. One method of monitoring volcanic activity volcano deformation method. In conducting the study of deformation that occurs in Lokon Volcano, using observation data of GPS (Global Positioning System) in 2009 -2011. GPS data is then processed, and the resulting coordinates geosentrik and standard deviation as well as geodetic coordinates. Coordinates transformed into toposentrik system. After a statistical test by using –t test and the resultant shift of the point of observation passes the test statistic, we then conducted planned shift vector. From the shift in values and then calculated the value of tension and plotting the vectors. Based on the pattern of the shift vector is also determined the position of the magma source. POST point is assumed stationary reference point. All observations point to POST bound. Horizontal shift that occurs at the point of observation ranged from 1.7 cm/year to 7 cm/year. Pattern of deformation resulting from the vector and the strain showed inflation pergesran. This suggests the existence of volcanic activity at Mount Lokon. Also influenced by volcanic activity of Mount Lokon tectonic activity. text
