Summary: | One of the impact of the recent development of civilization is an increase in the population, which then also lead to the number of transportation sectors. These transportation sectors produce pollution in the air that contain of several gas along with its effects, similar to the ones seen in the Green House Effect. Similar to the ones in the atmosphere, the gas emission in the green house absorbs and emits radiation with a specific frequency. In order to monitor these emissions, there need to be an integrated analysis of the data. One way to do this is to create a spatial database and multi scale grid system. The use of the spatial database as a media to store the data is best if the data is stored in great amount. The spatial database is also useful to keep the data with spatial object of a points, lines, and even polygon. The multi scale grid system for the green house gas emission could be used to represent geographical phenomenon which characteristic is continuous and gradual. Therefore, information about the green house gas emission needs to be socialized using webGIS visualization, this way the society are able to find out and receive the information as well as adding or even change these emission data continuously. In order to make this happen, it is necessary to create a spatial database that could store the information about the green house gas emission by using the multi scale grid system. |
