Summary: | As a maritime country and the world's largest archipelago country, with over 17,500 islands and 81,000 km of coastline and 75 per cent (5.8 million km2) area as a sea waters (Territorial Sea, Archipelagic Waters, Inland Waters and Exclusive Economic Zone), Indonesia has the frontiers of ocean waters with the 10 countries that directly border with Indonesia, one with the Philippines in the waters of North Sulawesi (Sangihe islands with the island of Sarangani). Therefore, there should be a process of determining the maritime boundary, especially for the Territorial Sea and Contiguous Zone. Delimitation Territorial Sea and Contiguous Zone of Indonesia-Philippines based, therefore there is no boundary line between the two countries. As for to help determine the boundary line between the two countries, used software SPATCOM. However, in the process of this boundary, also using AutoCAD Map software to help what is not yet available in SPATCOM. |
