Summary: | As a unit in PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, TelkomRisTI involves in research and development technology, and product innovation by maximizing resources available in order to anticipate development and trend in information technology industry. Each year, TelkomRisTI is able to develop 15-20 products but only 1-4 products that enter the market. However, not all marketed products could reach good sales. Facing the problem, a research is then developed, in order to value TelkomRisTI's performance in new product development process, resources performance, and products performance. In order to increase company's performance, this research develop several methods, one of the methods is Assessment Tool and Methodology (ATM). The method is a structured method used to assess integrating activities in the company. The research concludes that TelkomRisTI's performance comprehensively is not quite good, in company's internal and external's view. Internal company consists of basic, objective, genres and types of new product development, company's resources, and performance of R&D division, marketing, and production. External company consists of comparing TelkomRisTI's products with competitor's products. The appropriate solution to contend the issues in TelkomRisTI is by using several approaches and strategies in order to increase company's performance, which is producing products appropriate for consumer's need and improving marketing activities in order to ensure that the products produced is accepted by the consumer. |
