Summary: | Information is important for traveler. Traffic information is used to determine the circumstances and traffic conditions will be passed. Development of information technology has made everyone very easily get information in seconds and hand. In practice, service developments of traveler information system are not integrated and planned well. This research is related to architectural planning of traveler information systems (TIS), to get the identification and definition of each element connected in the intelligent transportation system (ITS). Research conducted in Bandung Transportation Department which retrieves data from users and stakeholders. This thesis research describes TIS service architecture that descript at various levels, namely physical layer and logical layer. Definition of each element related services, roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder. Data retrieval is done by two methods in a different time.
