Summary: | Vibration signal analysis technology is one vital component in the industrial world. In this case, vibration analysis technology plays an important role in predictive maintenance activities that affect the sustainability of an industrial process. Development of vibration signal analysis technology has been widely performed in Dynamics Laboratory PPAU-IR ITB. There are various softwares that have been successfully developed to support the vibration signal analysis technologies. But in fact, these software still require improvements to serve the purpose of vibration analysis technology. Therefore, further development is needed to refine them.

Development in this final project has produced a computer-based data acquisition system with software that meets the standard requirements as a dynamic signal analyzer. This

software is created using a graphical programming language LabVIEW 8.5 and used to control data acquisition hardware NI USB-4432. Display and operation of this software made

to resemble the benchmarking hardware HP MSA-3566A.

The test conducted to determine the successful parameter in this software development includes three stages i.e.: first there is testing with sinusoidal signal using MSA HP-3566A
signal generator, then vibration response testing on the test device PSD structural load, and FRF testing on a simple beam with fixed pedestal on both ends. MSA HP-3566A is used as a reference of comparison on each test. Based on the results of the test that has been done before, this software, named DSA D&A USB 4432, has an enhanced performance conforms to the standard requirement as a dynamic signal analyzer. |
