People need fast and reliable transportation to support their activities. The aircraft development issues lately, are not only air transportation fast and reliable, but environmentally friendly. Aerodynamic performance becomes one of interesting aspect to be investigated. Recently, high-speed aerodynamics becomes interesting topic for research. Transonic regime is flight condition that commonly aircraft operating. There are two ways that can be done to improve the efficiency of the transonic flight regime, namely reducing wave drag or delaying the shock wave. This final task discusses one method to reduce drag by adding Divergent Trailing-Edge <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> (DTE) wedge. DTE wedge is made by adding trailing-edge thickness of airfoil. The method used to calculate aerodynamic forces on the original airfoil and modified <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> one are use experimental methods and/or numerical methods. In this final task, the process of calculating aerodynamic forces is carried out numerically. This method uses the basic equation of the Navier-Stokes equation reducing to Euler. The result of the numerical calculation is obtained by adding DTE wedge can reduce drag more or less 1%. text
