E-Gov <br /> <br /> <br /> applications systems currently tend to be closed systems built by different vendors with different technology platforms. Technical obstacles to communicate with external systems (business, provincial, national, etc.) will be challenges to present a more comprehensive business process involving stakelholder external applications. With Shared Services (as the main component architecture SOA), will bring catalog for functions in the form of web services (one of technologies supporting SOA) at the local government level that can be accessed either internally within government and external systems. This will minimize the functional redundancy, make efficiency (reusable codes), consistency and enable for business process improvement. The concept of Shared Services in the context <br /> <br /> <br /> of SOA must focus on the 'organization-value' e-Gov system that can collaborate with external systems as needed, and considering the reality of existing applications that may not be familiar with the concept of SOA. To facilitate <br /> <br /> <br /> collaboration, particularly with external systems, need to design access mechanisms through Shared Services Catalog system of Local Government. The new system built based on SOA, will be in the form of 'composite applications' as <br /> <br /> <br /> orchestration results services. While the external system will access the service through a government access code in the Shared Services Catalog. By this mechanism, expected characteristics of e-Gov Government will increase and <br /> <br /> <br /> could become the foundation of the development of a more comprehensive e-Gov system. text
