Description
Summary:Internet Video Transmission Technology Development grows rapidly. Based on existing Internet traffic growth until now, experts predict in 2013, 90% use the internet will be used for video transmission. Such development of the transmission technology and advancement of teaching process make the implementation of the Virtual Class through internet video streaming posible. In order to keep teaching effective, every words and gesture of teachers must be seen by learners. In this final project we design a Camera tracking system to follow movements of teachers on the Virtual Class. In the design of systems that should not obstruct the students in the regular (real) classroom. The system must also be easy to operate, inexpensive and easy to implement. The author choose the use of CAMSHIFT algorithms in OpenCV to be run in a fanless embedded system in order not to disturb the continuity of sound that class. The result, we have a good tracking camera system to follow teacher without interrupting real class. The system is also easy to use by operators even for beginners. The maximum object speed that can be detected is around 1.5m/s. Objects that can be traced is object which has one dominant color.
