Summary: | Plaxis 7.11 has been using world wide by geotechnical engineer to solve the geotechnical problem. Soil model such as Mohr Coloumb, Hardening Soil, and Soft Soil are used in Plaxis 7.11. To get good result analysis in Plaxis 7.11, user needs understanding about procedure to input parameter for each soil model. Regarding to get the soil parameter , in this thesis, the laboratorium test are carried out such as triaxial test in consolidated isotropic undrained test, consolidated isotropic drained, and oedometer consolidation test. <br />

The study of analysis time rate of consolidation particulary on soft soil in Gedebage area. The analysis uses soil model Mohr Coloumb, Hardening Soil, and Soft Soil which integrated in Plaxis 7.11. Before analysis, verification of soil model related stress strain and time are done first, and procedure input parameter must be right in each soil model. After verification , we can see the strongness and the weakness of each soil model. Then, evaluation of soil parameter determines the ability Plaxis 7.11 to analyse the time rate of consolidation. <br />

In this thesis, we can see that Plaxis 7.11 has weakness to predict the excess pore pressure in consolidated isotropic undrained test . All thes soil model do not have consistency value of A and B Skempton parameter . Plaxis do not provide this parameter in input parameter in each soil model. For time rate of consolidation analysis at oedometer, the three model in Plaxis 7.11 can show satisfaction result. |
