A wide range utilization of tin in metal coating due to of metallic tin has a shiny color and a soft property. Brass is a metal alloy that has a strong character and can form a joint with tin. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc with copper is a mayor component, its composition is between 60-90%. The presence of zinc metal in brass causes the difference in character between the brass and copper. In this research, coating prosesed has been carried out by coating of brass and copper with tin hot dip galvanization method in order to see any different character. Defined parameters, are the degrees of thickness, the mass of tin coating, the conductivity, and microstructure on the interfacial layer. On the difference in the thickness of the metal copper has an average value greater that 0.137±0.035 mm and 0.081±0.033 mm for brass. It is directly proportional to the average amount of tin mass that cover up the base metal, which is 0.0517±0.0061 g for copper 0.0225±0.0046 g for brass.
