The result indicates that there is an influence of temperature increase to the sound wave speed. The increase of temperature 1 oC causes the sound wave speed increases 0,61 m/s. The result has difference compared to data from literature. Measurement of sound wave speed in different frequency for temperature 30 oC yields sound wave speed 359,14 m/s while based on the literature data yields sound wave speed 349,14 m/s with percentage difference 2,69 %. Although there is a difference between the result obtained from the experiment and literature data, the equipment still can be used in high school laboratory in order to obtain the sound wave speed by use of resonance method. text |
