Though this wireless phone system has the potential to be applied en masse because of the ease of operation and interconnection. This research aims to design a model of improved wireless telephone communication system DECT (iDECT), which is expected to improve system performance, in order to follow the development of increasingly sophisticated technology, so it can be used widely. IDECT system uses STBC MISO technique with 2 antennas at the BS and 1 antenna at the HS for 6 users and connected to the PSTN network. This system uses voice coding LD-CELP 16 kbps, space-time coding STBC, diversity antenna MISO 2x1, MRC, MLSE, and TCM. Improvements obtained from iDECT system is reduced bandwidth requirements and a 384 kbps bit rate, spectral efficiency of 1.333 bps / Hz. The simulation results show a better system than the system iDECT DECT with an increase of 11 dB to 8 dB for uplink and downlink, at FER = 2 x 10-2. In frequency selective fading iDECT system still works, although with a delay optimal rms of 200 and 400 ndet ndet. And for the channel condition full load (6 users), system performance iDECT only reduced by <1 dB at FER = 2 x 10-2. text
