By studying the natural, forced and combined convection the importance of the safety limits for determining the normal operating condition of a nuclear reactor and its emergency <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> action that has to be taken in the event of an accident will be obtained. Currently the result of convection heat transfer research in vertical subchannel is still limited. The empirical correlation that has been proposed was used with limited range. Considering their important role, research on natural, forced and mixed convection heat transfer need to be done continuously so we can understand the fenomena and their heat transfer coeficient can be predicted better. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The objectives of this research is to develop general correlation equation of natural, forced, and mixed heat transfer. The correlation equation will be compared to numerical simulation result. The experiment of this research is done by using a test model that was made based on a numerical simulation design. text
