knowledge workers that can be the main motivator for KM. Problems in KM implementation usually arise because of the lack of the company's and employees's consciousness about the importance of KM and the mistakes in detemine the right KM measurement parameters. <br />

The data collection that was done by survey method through questionaire given to TELKOM R&D Center (RDC) employees has the purpose to see whether the sharing <br />
<br />
<br />
activity has become an organizational culture. A gap analysis was also done between the factor of importance and satisfaction from all of the sharing parameters. Research was also done to see the right of performance indicators (PI) used in measure the success of KM implementation by comparing the achieved scores with the actual condition. <br />
<br />

The result showed that even when respondents has admitted that the procedure for KM execution was pretty easy, has realised the importance of sharing culture and has showed enough satisfaction level on all sharing parameters, there was only few respondents that consider sharing activity as a work culture. It was showed by the low level of respondents that often do KM activities whether in attending presentation or searching knowledge <br />
<br />
<br />
through Kampiun, that is 11% for Bidang presentation, 2% for RDC presentation and 4% for Kampiun access. Most respondents are doing KM activities just to fullfil the target performance set by the company. There is also differences between the survey result and the performance indicators of KM result which show that the PIs given were still not correctly and accurately measure the success of KM implementation that they will need to be perfected further. |
