Some geophysical approaches will be applied for the well data and seismic data in this field for delineating each of the lithology and as a final result may come out with a sand distribution map of this field. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Normal Gamma Ray log calculation which will be used for cross-plot analysis with acoustic impedance is the first thing conducted. This method has proven effective to delineate sand and shale in log basis. Multiattribute analysis then conducted to predict the pseudo volume of Normal Gamma Ray by using Gamma Ray pseudo volume as external attribute. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Later on, Neural Network inversion analysis with Probabilistic Neural Network training produced an inverted acoustic impedance volume which has good correlation with the original log. This inversion result is then blended with the pseudo Gamma Ray volume to extract a volume which highlight sand facies in this field. Horizon slices on this blended volumes is at last capable to delineate sand distribution facies as expected. text |
