Description
Summary:Giant freshwater prawn growth model in Zero-Water Discharge technology with application of nitrifying bacteria is discussed here. In Indonesia, most of giant freshwater prawn is cultivated using static culture system, which has poor maintenance on water quality. Poor water quality such as accumulation of ammonium toxic can a¤ect the growh of giant freshwater prawn. The process of Zero-Water Discharge technology with application of nitrifying bacteria is being model in the form of a dynamical interaction between ammonium, nitrite and nitrate. This technique is expected to improve water quality on giant freshwater prawn culture. Stability analysis of the coexistence is shown. Analysis of the sensivity for the ammonium effect and interaction between giant freshwater prawn and nitrifying bacteria is shown numerically. Simulations are shown for different initial condition of giant freshwater prawn as well as for different initial level of bacteria.
