The aim of this development is decreasing the emission of SOx from diesel engine. <br /> <br /> <br /> The lubricity of diesel fuel need to be noticed considering in the influence of the performance and the age of the diesel engine especially in the fuel supply system component. The decreasing of sulphur contains process with hydrogenation method may caused aromatic content decreasing which is very important for the lubrication of diesel engine. For that reason we need to test the diesel fuel which over the hydrogenation process. In this test we measure wear scar diameter (WSD) and the friction force. The test work by rubbed two specimen with the lubrication of diesel fuel specimen to get the friction force and the wear scar. The result is wear scar diameter (WSD), friction force, and coefficient of friction. With this result we can get the correlation of WSD and the coefficient of friction. <br /> <br /> <br /> From this test we can conclude that measuring the coefficient of friction is better than WSD because of the efficiency and the simplicity of the test such as we don’t need the microscope for observe and measure the WSD text
