Research on comparing results between shock pulse, peakvue, and vibration methods has not been done so far. <br /> <br /> <br /> In this research, shock pulse, peakvue, and vibration measurements are done to detect local defect on ball and roller bearing, each of which consisting of normal bearing, and bearing with outer and inner race defects. Some parameters are varied in this research to assess the variation of shock pulse, peakvue, and vibration analysis. <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on the analysis of test results, it can be concluded that the shock pulse method is capable to identify defect on bearing and abnormal bearing operation.
