Summary: | Bicycle simulator is unique vehicle simulator because this vehicle implemented by manpower. So bicycle dynamics factor closely related to the driver. Besides, solution and research to bicycle simulator very rare done. Purpose of expected from this research that is existence of communication software prototype, acquisition peripheral system of data and action peripheral system of torque having good performance and applied to build one simulator system prototypes. In this research studied about serial communications program, acquisition of data and measurement peripheral of action of torque / pedal force is realized using a load cell. To operate bicycle model in area virtual environment added censor position of drive and brake censor. Information of torque, angle of deviation of drive, and braking taken and sent through serial port, applies cable USB to serial to visual program in computer. From our observation, visualization programs that receive input from the microcontroller which contains information on torque and steering angle position showed good results in terms of change of position, velocity, steering angle on the bike and rider virtual environments can feel the pedal load change in driving conditions on road bikes flat, declining, and there are slopes and in terms of a fairly good view and change quite realistic. |
