Summary:Nglenggong area is located approximately 10 km Northwest of Wonogirl, Central Java. Geologically, the research area, which is part of The Sunda-Banda Arc, contains abundant deposits disseminated in andesite intrusion rocks. Hydrothermal fluid processes which intruded the Semilir and Nglanggran formations are assosiated with geological structures of the research area, such as fault, fracture and some rock pores, having general direction of N 355° E. The mineralization, that consist of pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena, bomite, chalcosite, covelite, magnetite, hematite and native gold, developed in the quartz vein, forming some filling texture i.e : stockwork, crustiform, comb, and vuggy. On the other hand, the alteration processes produced four zones consisting clay-chloritecalcite zone, sericite-chlorite-calcite zone, sericite-chloriteepidote zone, and quartz-pyrite zone. The environment ore deposits seems to be low sulphidation epithermal deposits.
