PROCESS MODELING OF INORGANIC WASTE RECYCLING PLASTIC PACKAGING OF THE GAME KALPATARU

Waste is unwanted material remaining after the end of a process[1]. Based on the data contained in the document Jabar Dalam Angka Tahun 2009 (Social)[2], the city of Bandung produce 7500 m3/day of waste, in the form of solid waste per capita to the amount of 133.452 liters/person/day, the city waste...

Based on the actual conditions that occur in the field, there are four forms of waste management methods which until now is carried out by the people in the territory of Cikapundung; taking out the trash directly into streams Cikapundung, taking out the trash to the nearest polling station, burning trash, and then sort out the waste for recycling process and composting. This thesis is structured to get the process model on the management of inorganic waste plastic recycling containers, in terms of the raw material collection until the processing into marketable recycling products. It aims to raise awareness of waste produced by the daily activities of the people and provide education about the management of the recycling of inorganic and organic as additional income. Kelola samPah Tambah Rupiah (kalpataru) is a simulation game that illustrates the process of waste management, ranging from waste collection, to recycling. Waste management game is divided into three main materials used as a thesis topic, which is the determination of the best routes of waste collection, waste impacts on health, and process modeling of waste recycling. This thesis aims to show the process modeling of inorganic waste recycling packaging. text
