To be able to reduce or eliminate the occurrence of accidents is necessary to find out what caused the accident in a construction project. But the problem is that there has been no overview of the root problems that actually cause accidents. <br /> <br /> <br /> In planning and improve accident prevention systems, needed a method to analyze the causes that could possibly arise. Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) is one of an analytical method that aims to prevent the occurrence of policy failure in <br /> <br /> <br /> preventing accidents, and also provides a technique to determine the cause of the incident. In practice, the FTA uses a graphical model that displays the various combinations of factors causing the occurrence of work accidents referred to as the top event. <br /> <br /> <br /> In an effort to implement the FTA in the search for the causes of accidents in Indonesia, found 21 work accident causes (basic events) in construction projects in Indonesia. Basic events can cause accidents alone or in combination. <br /> <br /> <br /> From the analysis using the FTA, found that in general the work accident which occurred mainly caused by human factors.
