Summary: | The implementation of fly over construction (mainly the upper structure sections) at the intersection of urban roads and highways is always faced with both the location situation and traffic activity complexity conditions which exist and occur around the construction site environment. in order to minimize the impact of mutual influences between the activities taking place around the construction site location and the activities of construction implementation, in managing the fly over construction project, Constructability approach considering various influence aspects since the earliest stage of construction project processes is therefore needed. So the balance between project targets achievement and constraints exist can be carried on. One of the construction project elements that determines the success of construction implementation is design. Design should be tried as effective as possible in order that the balance of construction implementation targets achievement can actually be realized. Thus, location constraints would be faced need to be considered thoroughly at the design stage, with the result that design can be implemented by the most appropriate construction method in the same manner as one of the Constructability principles. This thesis is an effort to form a framework of Constructability model of fly over design for roads and highways intersection in urban area by using Morphological Analysis method as one of the method alternatives which can be applied in selecting the fly over upper structure type or design and construction method which are the most suitable to the existing location constraints in realizing the balance of project targets achievement. |
