Climate change issues presents challenges and strategy changes for the world especially industry. Devasting effect on enviroment, increasing earth temperature and higher level of sea is the impact of climate changes. At same time, developing countries are rising the emissions markedly increasing economic activity, and energy consumption. At the lastest meeting on the end of Novemer 2009 at Copenhagen Denmark, all countries signed for reducing its green hous gas emission. Including Indonesia that agreed for emission reduction up to 26% until 2020. PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia (PT. CPI) as one of the largest oil producer in Indonesia, releasing carbon gas (emmissions) to atmospher within their operation for handling oil. Eventhough in the normal operation, the emmision comply with regulatin from Depatement of Enviromental (Govermant of Indonesia). Realizing the commitment, Chevron corporate tighten the regulation regarding with enviroment that gradually minimize gas carbon emission. In 2009 Chevron put target for zero venting of gas carbon in upstream operation to all of worldwide business accomplished in 2012. This would be difficult to be applied in Sumatera Operation, whereareas in normal operation currently PT. CPI have to release gas due to condition and operational need. At gathering stations, gas released from tankages. From wells also, need to release otherwise impact to oil produce This final project is focusing to Kotabatak oil field that have characteristic with high gas oil ratio in its properties. Project propose to achieve zero venting of green house gas emission by develop project from initiatiation phase, selection process from alternatives developed, and execution planning. Preffered alternative selected by qualitative approach. Project should execute align with execution plan and delivering phase as critical path in hand over project. The conclusion is project duration 3 years that will complete in first quater of 2013 with estimate for capital cost US$ 6,950,000. Emission of gas carbon able to zero from condition that released 1 MMSCFD, another <br /> <br /> <br /> advantage of project is condensate produce 40 barrel per day.
