Description
Summary:Singaraja is a city located in Bali Province. This 27,89 km2 area is a city that always developing its potentials, such as tourism potential and trade potential. Singaraja population is always developing too, and estimated to be 85.613 people in the end of this plan. With this development, it requires infrastructures, like water supply system to fulfill the community needs. Because of it, the existing water supply system needs to be developed. Clean water needed by Singaraja's people is supplied by Regional Water Supply Company (PDAM). But PDAM can only supplied 75,17% of Singaraja community. In 2027, 90% of the population is planned to be supplied y PDAM. The right planning and calculation in water supply is needed to avoid the sufficient quantity, distribution losses in pipes, sufficient pressures, etc. that caused clean water cannot reach the service area. There are four main components in water supply system, i.e. source, transmission, water treatment plant, and distribution. Distribution system is an important system in water supply system. Distribution system is the most expensive system from other part in clean water system. Several alternatives nominated to get the right distribution network system. From this alternative, one is chosen and it should fulfill the design criteria, hydraulic criteria, and economically benefit. Hydraulic calculation is done with EPANET program. Cost calculation is also needed to be one considering factor. The chosen alternative is choose by compare the three alternatives based on several parameters using Pugh's Selection Method. <br />
