Description
Summary:Drinking water requirement that increasingly with resident growth, has not appropriate with the availability of raw water which relatively constant or even declining. Our government tried to adequate drinking water requirement for resident by building Drinking Water Installation in some region, but before the construction started, previously it would be better if reliability study of raw water has to be done first. In this research, the reliability study of Tambakbayan River has to be done as the resource for Tambakboyo basin which has function as conservation basin and fulfill drinking water requirement of Sleman residence. Drinking water plan flowrate that will be taken from Tambakboyo basin was about 120 Lps. From simulation between historical half monthly flowrate with drinking water plan flowrate, it can be obtained that Tambakboyo basin construction was needed for increasing flowrate, so that drinking water plan flowrate which will be taken would accomplished. Tambakboyo basin has 400000 m3 volume capacity, and in certain volume has to be hold because it has function as conservation basin and recreation place also. In basin operation test that done with input plan flowrate with 5 years time period at Puluhdadi post 1997- 2007, it is obtained that existing basin volume can not fulfill drinking water needs and basin main function as conservation basin has not accomplished.
