Some research shows that 25% of electricity usage in this sector could be saved through method without cost or low cost, and it can save even more with the cost of the medium-high. Every kWh of electricity that is not used in the urban sector, provides a kWh for who have not got an access to electricity, reducing pollution in the area around the power plant, as well as reduced greenhouse gas emissions. <br /> <br /> <br /> Evaluation of the efficiency of energy used in hotel Geulis was preceded by an early and detailed energy audits, to determine the level of efficiency and energy distribution of hotel equipments. After knowing the level of efficiency and distribution of energy usage, it is followed by a process of energy saving measures, as well as making energy audit software. The Research potential for energy savings in the short to medium term. Results hotel energy audit energy consumption intensity values obtained at the initial and detailed energy audits are 120.066 and 150.066 kWh/m2 years. <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on the distribution of energy use hotel equipment, energy saving potential <br /> <br /> <br /> analysis includes four systems, namely the lighting system, water supply system, air <br /> <br /> <br /> cooling systems and water heating systems. The results confirm that potential saving of <br /> <br /> <br /> lighting systems is Rp 51,907.08/month with a payback period of 10 months, the saving <br /> <br /> <br /> of water heating system is obtained at Rp 7,051,200.00/month with a payback period of <br /> <br /> <br /> 24 months, as well as reducing the use of boaster pump will reduce the operating cost of <br /> <br /> <br /> Rp 81360.00/month.
